What Should I Know Before Moving to Argyle?

Small-town feel and bigger lots, with a few trade-offs to understand.

By Shaune Corbett

Two very different housing types

Argyle combines acreage and custom homes with nearby master-planned communities. Some addresses with an Argyle mailing address are actually outside the town limits, which can affect taxes and services.

School boundaries

Argyle ISD is a draw for many buyers, but not every home near Argyle is in Argyle ISD. Always verify school assignment with the district for a specific property.

Rural realities

Acreage properties may have septic systems, private wells or aerobic systems, deed restrictions on animals and outbuildings, and longer drives for errands. Inspect and ask about each.

For any specific property, make a checklist of utilities, restrictions, taxes and inspection questions. Shaune Corbett Group's Move Plan helps keep those decisions tied to your budget and timing rather than the listing photos alone.
