Why Isn't My Home Getting Offers?

Showings and offers tell you different things. Here's how to read them.

By Shaune Corbett

No showings

If few buyers are booking showings, the listing isn't earning a click. Usually that's price relative to nearby competition, weak photos, or a description that doesn't highlight what buyers search for.

Showings but no offers

Buyers came, saw, and chose something else. Common reasons: the home doesn't live up to its photos, condition concerns, odors or clutter, or a nearby home offers more for similar money. Ask for specific showing feedback.

What to change first

Compare your home honestly with what sold recently, not what's still listed. Fix visible condition issues, refresh photos, make showings easy, and adjust price if the evidence says so. Small, early adjustments usually beat big, late ones.

Shaune Corbett Group's Listing Health Check gives you a way to organize the signals before deciding what to change; it isn't a judgment on anyone else's work.

Talk it through

Before you choose a price, a repair budget, or an offer, let's compare your selling options.

A call with Shaune is a practical conversation about your home:

  • Where your price is likely to land, based on recent nearby sales
  • Which preparation is worth considering — and what to skip
  • How different offers and selling options trade off
  • How your sale timing fits your next move
